The Horseshoe Hunting Retriever Club hosted the first sanctioned Master National event in Canada. This event has since gained CKC recognition, and in September 2007 a number of our members participated in the first licensed event held at Brighton, Ontario. In the years since, a number of our members have participated and qualfied including Gary Charchalis with Kona in 2016, and Shelly Blom with Bonnie in 2017. In 2010 when Manitoba hosted the Master National, our own Tim Marshall was one of the judges!
